Juniors

Three Gaits has ceased operations; the ranch has been sold and we're moving on.

It has been a long and wonderful journey and we will miss all of you. Thanks for traveling with us.

Many of Judy's students have qualified for three day eventing championships, as well as competed successfully at the northern California junior dressage championships.A number of them have gone on to teach and train professionally during and after college.

"My teenage daughter Alyssa has been riding at Three Gaits since she was very young. At first she was mentored not only by Judy, but also by Three Gaits adult and older junior riders. Now I see Alyssa gaining confidence by helping younger children and even adults. The school system segregates children by age, which is why being a part of Three Gaits has been a unique and beneficial experience for her. It is a rare opportunity for her to relate, in various ways, to people of all ages and gives meaning to the saying: it takes a village..."

"Judy is the most well-rounded riding instructor I've ever ridden under. She not only teaches strong riding fundamentals, but also develops solid horsemanship skills as well as respect and appreciation for the horses themselves."
